I just wanted to let everyone know that me and the animals are okay and we survived with out any damage. We did have to spend an hour or so in the bathtub and i can say with certainty that Roxy and Zoe were not very happy about it. But we finally got off to bed at around 1am.
Now i am not sure if i was scared of all weather/natural disasters as a kid, but if you know me now, then you probably know that i am not the best to be around when this kind of thing strikes. Just ask Miles. I am usually freaking out and glued to the news channel holding my flashlight. So last night when we had to stay locked in the bathroom, because its the only closed off room in the house (no basement), i had to turn the tv all the way up so that i could hear it.
Anyways no serious damage at our house, just a few fallen branches from the tree out front, and i did lose my recycling bin that got sweep away with the wind. Oh well, what are you going to do.
MILES UPDATE:
I did get a chance to chat online with Miles today before he had to catch another flight, he is doing well, and should have more access to the internet in the next couple of days. We got a chance to briefly use the webcams, but the delay is really bad. But he looks great. Handsome as always. He said that he should have a mailing address in the next couple of days. Not really much more to report. Other then he was very proud of me for getting thru the storm by myself. LOL.
One more thing is that he said he had a bunch of pics that he will be emailing to me when he gets the chance, I guess it takes awhile, but once i get them i will send everyone a link to take a look.
Whoops okay One more thing, for those of you who have the instant messanger set up, and see that Miles is on. Just ask him a quick question that only he would know the answer to, like what his middle name is or something like that, because earlier he was on a public computer and someone must have accidently logged him on, and i told them that i loved them, and who ever it was loves me back. Kind of Freaky. So anyways, you never know who might be on the other end of the computer so just becareful with what you say. Thanks

Glad to know that you are alright, and that you and the animals made it through the storms without any problems.
I am so proud of you for being so courageous through the storm. I would have loved to have been there to help you. I laugh when I picture you and the girls in the tub, clutching the purple flashlight with the tv blaring! I know you were scared but it's still kinda funny. You rock baby and I love you for it.
Miles
