The World of WW

For those of you who don't know I joined weight watchers on January 2nd. I decided that it was time for me to shed some unsightly pounds that I have been carrying around for way to long. As some of you may know Miles is very into fitness and was always getting on my case for not excercising, so for awhile last summer I tried to go for a run or at least a walk everyday afterwork but of course my eating habits were still the same so I really didn't see any results from it. So that eventually fell to the wayside. Now I want to be clear here, I am not blaming Miles for my bad eating habits, but he is a man with a high metabolism and so when he would sit down and eat a big mac, I would join him. Unfortunitly he would burn it off and mine would kind of fall onto some part of my body. Ladies I think you know what I mean about this. Its totally unfair how most men can eat what ever they want with little to no excercise and not seem to gain any weight. Eventually I ballooned up to a size 12 or 14 in some cases and was weighting in at 173. ( see above picture)WOW. I could not believe it myself.

At the end of October Miles joined the Army and was gone for 9 weeks, I had lost about 6 pounds during that time and was down to about 167 when he came home over Christmas and I felt like I gained it all back, as we all know with the holidays comes lots of eating. So once Miles headed back to Georgia, I decided that it was time for me to join WW (weight watchers). So on January 2nd I signed myself up online. Now that was 3 months ago and since then I have lost 18 pounds and I am sitting at 149. I don't think I have been under 150 since high school, so as you can imagine this is a huge accomplishment, and I am still working towards my goal weight of 130. So everyone out there who reads this and is interested in loseing a few unwanted pounds, seriously consider this method, it really does work. And you don't have to go to any meetings or weight in in front of group of people. I did it all online.
(this picture is at about 155)

Reading back over this, I sound like WW is paying me to advertise for them, but to honest I am just excited that I have lost some weight and I did it for me, which is the most important thing.
