Then on Monday we went on the yacht and to see if we could see any whales. Unfortunitly we didnt see anything to exciting, except a few seals and sea lions, and lots and lots of water. Either way though its really nice to get out on the boat for some fresh air . When we anchored down for lunch, Miles and I actually went a took a nap down below, and surprisingly it was very relaxing. I was sure I might get sick from the rocking but it helped me fall asleep, which I am sure that Miles appreciated because he was the one that I would have probably gotten sick on.
Then on Tuesday we went to the Santa Barbara Zoo with Margret, Sarah, Jonas and Julianna. It is a really nice little zoo, and I actually got to feed a giraffe which is awesome. And surprisingly giraffes are really pretty even up close, they have really long eye lashes. Anyway it was alot of fun and we even got to ride the little train that goes around the park. Jonas was so excited about it, I am not even sure he realized that there were animals there! :) The next was Wednesday and we came home. We spent the last few days hanging out at our house and playing with the new Wii system that we bought. Which is so much fun by the way for any of you who might be in the market. All in all we had a great time together, not long enough of course, but in 8 short months he will be home and we can do it all again. Please keep Miles in your thoughts and prayers.

Jill -- Looks like you guys had a great trip! Your pix are awesome...how come every time I go somewhere & actually remember to take pix, they come out looking like crap? You'll have to come visit & give me some pointers:)
By the way, you look fabulous!! And Miles looks good too...I love seeing how happy you guys are together:) Hope you both are well...and tell Miles to hurry up & come home for good, safe and sound please! Take care darling!!

Honey the blog is awesome, you do such a great job with it. we did have a great time and the memories we made will help me get through the next 8 months with a smile on my face (most of the time!). I love you, keep up with the posts and I appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.
